The Waccatee Zoological Farm began approximately 16 years ago as a private collection of exotic and domestic animals. Today, on a 500-acre farm nearly hidden away in the Socastee community west of Surfside Beach, Waccatee Zoo contains more than 100 species of animals.

Put on your driving gloves and head out to the Grand Prix, a longtime Myrtle Beach favorite. Get behind the wheel of a high-speed go-kart or take some wild turns on the Slik Trak. If this is too scary for the kids, take them to the just-for-kids Tadpool and the Magic Mushroom water fountain.
